My wife got her new MacBook last week. At first I didn’t caught on but at one point we lost the internal network. I mean I couldn’t access the net on my Mac Mini and I couldn’t even log into the router’s internal interface on the local network. I rebooted the router and the network access came back… for a few minutes. Try a few times and then we tried pluging the Macbook insteab of using the wireless access. Everything was fine!
So I found two similar issues on the web with this router and Mac laptops. One was related to DHCP and the other was the exact same as mine, i.e. the router locking up. For the second one, I found a few threads but no real solutions. After talking to Alexandre, he suggested to try first updating the router firmware. Everything seems fine and stable after a week, the Macbook is back on the wireless connection and we’re happy campers again!
