The deck got completed on Thursday. We love it! As I mentionned before, it’s not a big deck as we prefer the privacy offered by being at ground level. The deck is 4×10 with storage underneath and it’s all constructed from white cedar from the Gatineau Hills. François is the guy who did the deck, he is the same person who did our fence last year. He is friendly and has great workmanship skills. The deck will be stained in a couple of weeks but for now, here’s a few picture of the deck.

We’re are pretty pleased. If it can stop raining, I’ll make a little side table similar to the little bench and a few flower boxes with the left over wood.
